Farmers, have dicovered that more and more of us haven't a clue what farming is all about, can make a pile of money showing off what they do. One such place is Fair Oaks Farm off I65 between Indianapolis and Chicago.

Theo and Luc

We took a couplel of grandsons, Luc, 8, and Theo, 10, for a day. We had lunch at the Cowfé, did the pig and cow adventures, and climbed around on the ropes course.

My favorite was the pig adventure. We took a bus to a (I hesitate to call it a "barn" because it was so enormous.) barn with some 3000 sows. Piglets are born continuely, kept 21 days, and then send to other farms to be raised to market size. Here are some photos.
