This sounds not so good but when served the lingon berry or cranberry sauce, it is quite good. This recipe serves two to three people.

Beef liver, 6 to 8 ounces

Cooked rice, a couple of cups

Raisins, a quarter of cup

Onion, one small sauted in butter

Egg, 1

Milk, just enough so that the mixture is juicy

Black pepper, a 1/2 a teaspoon

Syrup, a couple of table spoons. I use maple syrup.

Marjoram, a teaspoon or so

Salt, a 1/2 a teaspoon

Prehear oven to 350° F.

Crop finely or grind the liver.

Beat the egg.

Mix all of ingredients and put in a buttered cassorole pan.

Bake for about an hour until a knife inserted in the center comes out dry.

Serve hot with cranberry sauce.
