One month as missionaries. Overwhelmed by the MTC, by the scope of what we going to be doing, working harder than we have in a very long time, and enjoying every bit of it.

Who knew on at the end of 2016, that 2017 would find us pulling a 10-foot trailer around southern Georgia delivering and picking up furniture, household stuff, and bikes.

We learned a couple of things that we need to address with the missionaries:

• Furniture needs to be adequate. Dressers without drawers should be replaced. Mattresses on the floor need to have a frame and box springs.
• Missionaries should not leave anything behind when they transfer. Bicycles, keyboards, shampoo, acne medicine should go with you or in the trash.
• If you have bugs, you are not following mission rules about cleanliness and spraying.

You get the idea. We have to keep reminding ourselves that these are 18 and 19 year olds and this is probably the first time their mothers haven't been there to nag them to take care of their apartments. Dorothy is determined to be their substitute nag.
